The 338 Lapua I was able to buy dies off the shelf. As far as loading costs, some will say the 338 Lapua is more expensive to load for due to the cost of the Lapua Brass.Compare that to the 338 Edge using Remington brass and getting 4-5 reloads. Brass for 338 Lapua has always been available - even during the tough times over the past few years. 300 Ultra brass is almost impossible to find.
